no one does girlie quite like the japanese. tokyo dollie girls, photo booth, and girlie motorcycle.

kimono fabric toys

these are some of the toys and beads people make with vintage kimono fabric.

dogs

people here are really over the top with their dogs. i've seen dogs in earrings, dogs in diapers, dogs in raincoats and hats and costumes.

more kibune

kibune is in the mountains to the north of kyoto. the perfect place to cool off as the summer heats up. restaurants perched on platforms over the river have natural air conditioning. see earlier post to view our somen catching expertise.
